LESLIE KING, GRADUATE STUDENT
Leslie’s sculptures are about moments in time, about stories or parts of a story. They are about feelings, things that make her curious or make her wonder. They are things that are hard to express in words. To this end, Leslie’s work focuses on the features of the face, head, and upper torso. We read the face in a second and (right or wrong) pass judgement. It is a window to our feelings and intentions and an excellent vehicle of storytelling.
