FAC Artist Studios

The FAC Artist Studios at 7 North Market Street provides a fully integrated space for artists to create, show their work, and build community.

Located in an early 20th-century bank, it also builds on the richness of Frederick’s history in the very heart of downtown. Offering the best of elegant historic detail and modern conveniences — such as an elevator, new HVAC system, and LED lighting in the Studios — it demonstrates Frederick’s and FAC’s commitment to providing the best for local arts.

The Studios are outfitted to house nearly 30 artists in creative spaces, and also offers additional amenities such as a kitchenette and classroom. The communal spaces display the work of the Studio artists on a rotating basis, always offering plenty to see and a diverse array of creativity to the Frederick community and our visitors alike.

The Al and Helen Hurwitz Gallery of the Arts is now closed.
