The purpose of the CAD grant program is to allow high-quality arts programming to be
available to as many community members as possible. FAC’s CAD grant awards are
supported by the Maryland State Arts Council and Frederick County.

CAD applications are evaluated by a dedicated CAD Committee, which includes
representatives from the Frederick Arts Council staff and board as well as the local
creative community. Serving as FY2023’s CAD Committee Chair was dedicated artist Griff
