Never Goodbye
Seraphina Wilson
Do not cry on my deathbed
For I could never be dead
The memory of me
In every raindrop falling
Reliving happy memories
Don’t you hear me calling
My silhouette shown in the reflection of rain water
Sit beside me as I leave
Don’t call it dying
For death has never become me
You can see me as you swim
In the vast blue-green ocean
Not nearly close to empty
For there are many souls there with me
I will never be lonely
As long as you sit beside me
And say goodbye
For now
Not forever
