FREDERICK ARTS COUNCIL ANNOUNCES FLYING COWS BASKETBALL JERSEY CONTEST

Frederick, MD – The Frederick Arts Council has partnered with the Flying Cows to choose a jersey design from the Frederick County arts community for an upcoming basketball game.

Submissions from all ages were accepted throughout the fall. Jersey design contestants are posted along the second floor of the YAAC at 115 E Church St. Designs are also available for online viewing through the online voting portal. Vote for your favorite here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/XDT32M7 Voting closes Feb. 13.

The jersey with the most votes will be worn by the team at an upcoming game, the winning artist receiving $125. There will be a reception on the second floor of the Y Arts Center on Feb. 19 at 5 pm announcing the winner.

The Frederick Flying Cows are a USBL professional basketball team based in Frederick, Maryland. The Flying Cows debuted on March 2, 2024, at The Hood College Athletic Center against the Reading Rebels with a thrilling 113-112 come-from-behind victory, showcasing the electrifying plays and the passionate fanbase that would define the franchise in their inaugural season. Immediately proving themselves as a top team, the Cows placed first in the eight-team Atlantic Northeast division and finished their season with a final record of 20-6.
