Frederick, MD – The Frederick Arts Council is proud to announce its 50th Anniversary Gala, taking place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at New Spire Arts. This milestone celebration will commemorate five decades of supporting, promoting, and celebrating the arts throughout Frederick County while bringing together artists, community leaders, businesses, and arts supporters for an unforgettable evening.
The gala will celebrate the Frederick Arts Council’s rich history and lasting impact on the community while looking ahead to the future of the arts in Frederick. Guests will enjoy an elegant evening featuring live entertainment, special recognitions, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, as well as opportunities to connect with the individuals and organizations that have helped shape Frederick’s vibrant arts community over the past five decades.
Since its founding in 1976, the Frederick Arts Council has served as a champion for the arts by supporting individual artists, strengthening local arts organizations, expanding access to arts education, and advancing public art initiatives. In the past three years alone, the Frederick Arts Council has awarded more than $1 million in grants. The 50th Anniversary Gala serves as both a celebration of these accomplishments and a fundraiser to ensure the organization can continue its mission for future generations.
