The Frederick Arts Council is a 501 (c)3 organization as recognized by the Internal Revenue Service. The organization relies on support from the community in order to effectively promote, support, and advocate for the arts. There are numerous ways to make an impact through the Frederick Arts Council.

  1. Become a member of the Frederick Arts Council. For a membership application, please call 301-662-4190. Depending on the membership category, various benefits are provided to members including discounts, marketing and promotional listings, exclusive event opportunities, and receipt of the quarterly newsletter.
  2. Make an additional financial contribution that supports the organization's annual operating and program costs.
  3. Contribute to the organization's endowment fund at the Community Foundation of Frederick County, providing the organization with long-term sustained support.
  4. Consider contributing other assets, including property, stocks, and other investments now or as part of a planned giving program that will leave a legacy for the arts for years to come.
  5. Donate much needed supplies and materials (contact the office for a current list of needs).
  6. Offer something of value that will be auctioned off at the annual Celebration of the Arts dinner which takes place each fall
  7. Sponsor a specific event, program, or project that will provide reciprocal marketing opportunities for you or your business and organization.
  8. Contact the FAC for other ways to support the arts in Frederick County!
