White House Bus Trip Planned

Local residents have an opportunity to take a holiday tour of one of America’s most famous residences. The Frederick Arts Council is sponsoring a bus trip to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, otherwise known as The White House. The trip is scheduled for Thursday, December 15th. However, the date and time is subject to change due to White House security restrictions.
The holidays are a great time to visit the residence and office of the First Family, which will be adorned with festive decorations. Other special activities are being planned while in Washington, D.C. during that day as well.
The bus will depart from a Frederick location and will return back in the early evening. The cost is $70 per person (or $60 for arts council members). Registration is limited on a first-come, first-serve basis and security information is required for admittance. The trip is being arranged through the office of a member of Congress. Certain individual information is required for admittance into The White House. For more information, call 301-662-4190.
