Teddy Robinson Photography Exhibit at the Chamber of Commerce

January 17, 2012

Local photographer Teddy Robinson is currently exhibiting his work at the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce through the end of February.  A meet and greet is scheduled on Friday, February 3rd as part of the Chamber’s Coffee and Contacts program.

Robinson is the founder and owner of Monocacy River Photography, an online gallery of inventory of true-to-life prints that include photographic images from not only Frederick County but also include such images as the annual balloon festival in Williamsport, PA; the San Jacinto and San Cristobal Missions of San Antonio, TX; the beautiful sunset beaches of Fort Story, VA and the moving battlefields of Antietam and Gettysburg.

He has exhibited his work at the Cultural Arts Center, Shareen’s Exquisite Art Gallery, Crestwood Art Gallery at FMH Women’s Center, and Blanche Ames Gallery.  In addition, Robinson has participated in the Frederick Festival of the Arts, Brunswick Railroad Days Celebration, Frederick Festival of Greens as well as several Frederick Artist Markets.  He is an active member of the Frederick Arts Council.

It was the bountiful beauty of Frederick County Maryland that first attracted Robinson to the medium of digital photography.  Each press and release of his shutter is a never-ending attempt to perfectly capture the rich, majestic beauty of the rare moments and widely popular iconic images that are uniquely Frederick County in digital high quality prints. “Photography is my passion and I truly believe that our final prints will not only be appreciated as treasured personal memories but lasting works of art,” he said.  “Each photographic print is my attempt top share my passion for the art of digital photography combined with an appreciation for the majestic beauty that abounds in our town.”

This exhibit space is provided by as part of a partnership between the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce and the Frederick Arts Council, which handles all sales.  Robinson’s work is available for purchase throughout the show.  For more information, contact the Frederick Arts Council at 301-662-4190.
