FAC Announces New President, Officers, and Board Members

The Frederick Arts Council announces their new President, several new board officers as well as seven new board members who have joined the organization dedicated to encouraging and investing in a vibrant and cohesive arts community for Frederick County.

The Council announces the election of its new Board President Michael Campagnoli, Senior Executive Director of Trade Relations at Acella Pharmaceuticals, LLC and President of Campagnoli, LLC. He has been a board member since 2014 and has served on various committees at the Frederick Arts Council including heading the Development Committee.



Michael Campagnoli is a pharmaceutical executive with over 25 years’ experience launching new national and international pharmaceutical companies. He also owns a company which imports consumer products from foreign countries into the United States. He volunteers as a CASA to the Circuit Courts of Frederick, is on the Executive Board of Directors with Friends of Meals on Wheels, is a member of the Weinberg Center’s Tivoli Society, the Chamber of Commerce, the Frederick Memorial Hospital’s Good Samaritan, the Delaplaine Arts Center and the Frederick Historical Society.

In addition, the following individuals will be serving as board officers – Vice President William Randall, CEO of Randall Family, LLC, Secretary is Richard Davies, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Frederick County Bank, and Treasurer is Jeff Griffin, CFO of Community Living.

The new board members include Kelly Beach, Event Consultant at the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce; Richard Davies, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Frederick County Bank; Joerg Desler, President of STULZ Air Technology Systems, Inc.; Frank Goldstein, Principal Attorney at the Law Offices of Frank R. Goldstein, LLC; Jeff Griffin, Chief Financial Officer at Community Living, Inc.; Glenn Quader, Music Director of the Frederick Symphony Orchestra; and Bruce Zavos, President of Zavos Architecture and Design, LLC.

Kelly Beach is a Certified Meeting Professional with more than twenty years of experience in event planning. She has lived in the Frederick area for over thirty years. Before joining the Chamber of Commerce, she served as meetings manager for Independent Planner and Consultant, a nonprofit association. At the Chamber she oversees events and programs such as the annual Golf Scramble, the Chamber Picnic, and the Volunteer Recognition Program.

Richard Davies has worked with Frederick County Bank since 2001 and has held the position of Senior Vice President of Marketing since 2009. He has also served as a Secretary of the Rotary Club of Fredericktowne, and as a Board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Frederick County.

Joerg Desler is President of STULZ Air Technology Systems, Inc. in Frederick, Maryland; the US arm of STULZ, the global manufacturer of precision air conditioning, humidification and dehumidification systems. Joerg started with STULZ GmbH in 1992 and relocated to the US in 2001 where he signed responsible for manufacturing, engineering as well as R&D before moving into his current role. Joerg holds an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg, Germany and is a member of APICS and ASHRAE.

Frank Goldstein, before forming the Law Office of Frank R. Goldstein, LLC, was a partner in the DC offices of Sidley Austin and Piper & Marbury, where his clients included such firms as ING (London Office), Merrill Lynch, and the United States Olympic Committee. Frank is the founder and chair of the Business Law Section of the Bar Association of Frederick County and has served as a member of the Business Law Council of the Maryland State Bar Association. He continues to represent national companies and organizations as well as Frederick and Montgomery area companies and individuals in business law matters.

Jeff Griffin has been the Chief Financial Officer of Community Living, Inc. for almost three years. Previously, he served as an Insurance Agent for Liberty Mutual and a Financial Center Leader with BB&T. In the community, he is Club Secretary for the Rotary Club of Carroll Creek, has served as a Business Development Committee member for the Golden Mile Alliance, and is active as a member of several committees at his church.

Glenn Quader began his first season as Music Director of the Frederick Symphony Orchestra in 2015-2016. He also began, in the summer of 2015, an appointment as the Conductor of the Maryland Lyric Opera following a successful production of Gounod’s Romeo et Juliette. He has also served as Music Director of the Piedmont Symphony Orchestra and Staff Conductor of the Fairfax Symphony Orchestra. He has conducted internationally in the Czech Republic and Hungary.

Bruce Zavos, President of Zavos Architecture and Design, LLC, has over thirty years of architecture experience. His firm ZA+D, LLC, has received numerous awards and is known for undertaking community-oriented projects. He has served as the Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Interfaith Housing Alliance, Vice President on the Executive Committee of the Beth Sholom Congregation, Vice Chair of the Afffordable Housing Council of Frederick County, and as a member of Rotary International, the Police Activities League of Frederick, and the Golden Mile Alliance Design Committee.
